2025 Silver Telly Award winner. A committed nurse for 31 years, Katie Boston-Leary, PHD, MBA, MHA, RN, NEA-BC, FADLN has dedicated her career to furthering health equity in healthcare. She sees “health equity as a way to finally close the gap between how care is delivered and the outcomes for people of marginalized and minoritized communities.” Katie believes “when we have lack, that impacts everybody and when we’re doing well, it also impacts everybody but for us to get there, it takes everybody” because in the end, “we’re just asking for people to be better humans, period.”
